Dancing with Mantas and Sharks!

Deep in the south of the Egyptian Red Sea lie some of the most pristine coral reefs of the region.

In Daedalus and Zabarghad’s depths you might have the luck of dancing among mantas and sharks.
Fortunate enough, we danced with them, and this is the video of what we lived!

Audio Track: “Fearful Odds” by M83 from the soundtrack of the motion picture “Oblivion”.

SCUBA DIVING LIVEABOARD DEEP SOUTH RED SEA

On Easter, 17-24 April 2014 we are sailing for our 14th group-organized live aboard trip to Egypt. (Για την παρουσιαση του ταξιδιού στα Ελληνικά πατήστε εδώ, For a pdf presentation in Greek click here)

For 8 days, 7 nights we will be living on board the M/Y Golden Dolphin 2, cruising the colorful deep south Red Sea coral reefs. We expect to have around 4 dives per day, overall 18 dives in 6 diving days.

St John’s is a cluster of small reefs offering some of the most spectacular underwater wildlife vistas in the Red Sea. Habili Ali reef offers giant gorgonians and black corals. We expect to dive with grey reef & silvertip sharks, hammerhead sharks, bumphead parrot fish, giant napoleons, snappers, butterfly and bat fish and barracudas.
To the north, you’ll find the St John’s cave, an area where shallow cracks open up into small caverns, a sight you’re not about to forget.
The Fury Shoal reefs are located just to the north. Diving spots like Shaab Claudio, the Malahi Playground, el wasta will leave us speechless with their labyrinthine paths among the coral covered caverns. Here we will also have the opportunity to swim with the permanent population of spinner dolphins that live at the Sataya reef.

Scuba diving liveaboard red sea experience

Scuba diving liveaboard in Red Sea is the ultimate diving experience

It is said that a truly passionate diver is the one whose diving equipment is more expensive than his car. So very true! Equally true is the fact that the best “value for money” trip for the passionate diver is the liveaboard diving safari.

Liveaboard literally means “I live on a boat.”

For the diving traveler it means “I plan to dive all day and in between dives I shall dive a little more!”
